About a dozen students participate in research projects every summer. The research is conducted at the laboratories of Rutgers University, Montclair State University, Kean University, New Jersey City University, and Stevens Institute of Technology. Students presently receive research stipends of between $900 to $1500 during their research experience. These research projects allow the students to receive hands-on laboratory research experience at the University level while completing their community college courses.
