Consequences of Not Meeting Payment Obligations
Students who have completed early advisement and registration for a subsequent semester, but have not completed their current registration obligation according to their contract terms, will have all future registrations canceled.
Payment plans not paid by their scheduled due date will be assessed a $25.00 late fee. In addition accounts not paid in full by the end of the semester will be assessed a $100.00 contract default fee in addition to any late fee assessments.
ECC’s collection policy is to forward past due accounts to a designated collection agency. If your account is forwarded, it can be reported to national credit agencies, which can have a detrimental effect on your ability to obtain credit in the future. In addition, you may incur the cost assessed by the collection agency to collect your past due account.
