Returning Financial Aid Students:
Federal regulations require that returning students who totally withdraw will be subject to the following tuition adjustment schedule:

New Financial Aid Students:
Financial aid students enrolled at Essex County College for the FIRST TIME who totally withdraw from the institution must complete 60% of the semester/term to be entitled to a refund. Tuition charges will be prorated for first time students who complete less than 60% of the semester/term. Tuition adjustments require funds to be returned to the student aid program. Students may not be entitled to a refund.
