Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Three renewable $3500 per year scholarships. A minimum 3.2 GPA and an A.A. or A.S. degree are required. Non-U.S. citizens, part-time students, and students with previous bachelor’s degrees are not eligible. The student must enroll immediately following two-year college. General Honors Scholarship
A varying number of renewable full-tuition scholarships. A minimum 3.4 GPA and an A.A. or A.S. degree are required. Part-time students, out of state students and students with previous bachelors’ degrees are not eligible. Students must have graduated from a New Jersey Community College with an A.A. or A.S degree. Phi Theta Kappa membership is preferred. Most scholarships are awarded for the Fall semester. Any remaining are awarded for the spring semester.

An undetermined amount of renewable $7500 in the form of grants and scholarships are available. Renewable for 3 years provided the student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.5. Student must be enrolled full-time, must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident, have a qualifying GPA based on a 4.0 scale, have earned an associate’s degree prior to entering Rider, have completed coursework at the college level of study, and must submit a completed application, including fee and transcripts to the Office of Admissions.

Rutgers University Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Fifty renewable full-tuition per year scholarships. A minimum 3.7 GPA and an A.A. or A.S. degree from a New Jersey community college is required. Out-of-state students, non-U.S. citizens or residents, part-time students and students with previous bachelors’ degrees are not eligible. All courses taken at the NJCC are considered and, if necessary, the grade-point average is recalculated to include all courses. Preference is given to applicants with 45 or more credits earned at the NJ community college from which they graduate. Students must enroll directly from a NJ community college with no intervening enrollment.
