The Lady Wolverines soccer team suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 loss in the Region 19 Division I tournament against Harcum College on October 24. Coach Monique Edouard’s squad posted a 6-4-3 record for 2016.



Coach William Hill’s men’s soccer team lost on October 22 in the first round of the Region 19 tournament to Rowan College at Burlington County.


Both the women’s and men’s teams are well represented on both the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) and All-Region 19 first and second teams.


On the women’s side, GSAC first team members are freshmen Tia Henry (forward) and Natsuki Nagai (midfielder). Freshman forward Taylor Langhirt and sophomore goalkeeper Shanay Rickets were named to the second team.


Natsuki also was named first team All-Region 19, while both Tia and Taylor are on the second team.


On the season, Tia scored 11 goals and had two assists. Taylor followed with eight goals and one assist, while Natsuki had three goals and four assists.  Shanay recorded 89 saves on the campaign and had a 1.13 goals per game average.


For the men, sophomore forward Delano Edwards and freshman midfielder Leon Ellis were named to the All-GSAC First Team. Freshman forward Adriel Kerr was named to the second team. Delano also was selected to the All-Region 19 First Team, while Adriel was named to the second team.


On the season, Delano had six goals and six assists, while Adriel added six goals and five assists. Leon chipped in with one goal and five assists.
