The Board approved a three month extension for cafeteria and catering services, through September 30, with long-time provider Metropolitan Food Service, Inc. The Board is expected to award a full-year food service contract at the September meeting.
“The College is actively seeking food services providers who will accept debit and credit cards,” said Dr. Joyce Harley, Acting Vice President of Administration & Finance. “A lot of people have expressed an interest in being able to use debit and credit cards.”
In addition, the area of Finance has been actively negotiating the ATM fees with the two banks that have debit card machines on campus. As of July 1, there is no longer a fee imposed on the users of the Wells Fargo ATM machine on the second floor of the main campus.
