The revitalized Essex County College Foundation (ECCF) Board is busy developing strategies to achieve its goal of providing scholarship assistance to every deserving student.  The ECCF Board’s membership reflects the diversity of the Essex County College student body and, under its by-laws, there will always be at least one ECC graduate on the Foundation Board.

The Foundation is pleased to announce that beginning with the Fall 2007 semester, ECC students had increased opportunities to apply for scholarships and 43 students received scholarship awards in varying amounts from the Foundation.  An additional $30,000 will be available for students for the Spring 2008 semester.

As chairperson of the ECCF Board and a former ECC Trustee, I am proud to be part of an organization that is committed to providing financial assistance to students of ECC.  The Board and I look forward to the future with great   optimism and enthusiasm.
