The mission of the Essex County College Foundation, Inc. is to raise and administer funds that support the students and academic programs of Essex County College.  The Foundation has long embraced ECC for its vital role as a comprehensive community college uniquely suited to meeting the educational needs of a diverse citizenry.

Essex County College is fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, offering multiple resources for academic and career growth at its main Newark campus, West Essex campus in West Caldwell, and at satellite centers throughout Essex County.
