The 2011-12 Men’s basketball season was very successful, headlining with a GSAC championship and a Region XIX runner-up finish for the team. 
 

Freshman Sofia Medina will spend six weeks this summer at Duke University, participating in that university’s Summer Medical & Dental Education Program. The nationally renowned enrichment program exposes students to a wide spectrum of programs, including classes and seminars in chemistry, anatomy and physiology. They will also work closely with professionals in the medical field.

ECC’s WISE Women’s Center will hold a resource fair in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month Wednesday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the main level forum at the Newark campus.

The honors and accolades for ECC’s Alpha Theta Theta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) continue to pour in, both collectively and individually, following the 94th annual PTK Conference held the weekend of April 13.
