Essex County College was part of the scene at the Circle of Sisters Expo, the largest expo for women of color in New York City, at New York’s Jacob Javits Center on Saturday, September 7. More than 20,000 attended the popular annual event.

At the Expo, the College promoted the state Community College Opportunity Grant (CCOG) program, which provides free tuition for eligible students.

Outlining both the College and the CCOG program at Essex was Alfred Bundy, Executive Director for Institutional Advancement, who was interviewed by WBLS Radio’s Fred “Bugsy” Buggs.

Stephanie St. Clair, from the College’s Office of Recruitment and Retention, provided ECC materials to the attendees.
