EMT 212      ADVANCED CONCEPTS IN EMERGENCY CARE    II      (6 Credits)

This course emphasizes behavioral and psychological emergencies, crisis intervention, and advanced concepts relating to the pre-hospital environment including: rescue, hazardous material response, incident command, triage, and multi-casualty incidents. It also provides a comprehensive review for the National Registry Examination. The conclusion of the field internship clinical rotations includes work experience in a crisis unit and an emergency department.

Prerequisites: “C” or better in EMT 211 and ACLS Certification.
