GIS 220 GIS IN HOMELAND SECURITY (3 Credits)
This course addresses the compilation, management, and analysis of the many different types of critical geographic elements in our communities. It covers a range of GIS methods for the preparation and implementation of five phases of Homeland Security strategic planning: Risk Assessment, Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery.
Prerequisite: Approval by Division.
