Course Description: This course in music theory, harmony, counterpoint, ear training, sight singing, and composition is designed for the music major.  It is the first in the musicianship series (Musicianship I, II, III, and IV).

Course Goals: Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to do the following:

  1. read music using treble and bass clefs;
  2. notate music; and
  3. play the piano.
