Prerequisites:  Formal acceptance into the Radiography Program; Grade of “C” or better in RTC 202
Concurrent Courses: Grades of “C” or better in RTC 200 and RTC 201

Course Description: Students are assigned to clinical affiliations for approximately fifteen weeks, three days per week, to assist in pediatric and geriatric procedures in addition to all other radiographic procedures under the supervision of a registered radiologic technologist. Critiques of radiographic films are conducted at the clinical site.

<!–Course Goals: Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to do the following:

  1. correctly identify film identification, radiologic anatomy, patient positioning, and film quality on selected radiographic images;
  2. satisfactorily perform 12 radiography procedures selected from the prescribed list of procedures; and
  3. demonstrate behavior outlined by the Affective Domain evaluation to an acceptable measurement.
