Prerequisites:  Formal acceptance into the Radiography Program; Grade of “C” or better in RTC 206
Concurrent Courses: Grade of “C” or better in RTC 210

Course Description: Students are assigned to clinical affiliations for approximately six weeks, five days per week, for mastery of radiologic technology skills. Students perform all radiographic procedures including assisting in O.R. and special procedures under the supervision of a registered technologist. Critiques of radiographic films are conducted at the clinical sites. Successful completion of a comprehensive examination is required.

  1. correctly identify film identification, radiologic anatomy, patient positioning, and film quality on selected radiographic images;
  2. satisfactorily complete a comprehensive examination ; and
  3. demonstrate behavior outlined by the Affective Domain evaluation to an acceptable measurement.
