Beginning on January 17, 2014, Essex County College will offer an extensive list of Sunday classes, spanning a multitude of disciplines.
There will be 40 Sunday courses held at the Newark campus, with a few classes part of a Saturday-Sunday block. The disciplines include courses in Accounting, Art, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Computer Information Systems, College Success, Economics, Education, English, English as a Second Language, History, Mathematics, Music, Psychology, and Sociology.
Dr. Leigh Bello-de Castro, Assistant Dean, Academic Foundations, said the College is moving toward the position of being able to offer Associate degrees in some majors by students taking all classes evenings and weekends.
