The West Essex campus of Essex County College will conduct an open house for prospective students Thursday, April 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. The campus is at 730 Bloomfield Avenue in West Caldwell.
Prospective students who attend the open house will have their application fee waived.
“It’s certainly not too early to think about enrolling at Essex later this year,” said Dr. Leigh M. Bello-de Castro, Associate Dean of the West Essex Campus and Online Education.
The College offers two summer sessions (May 1 for Summer I and July 10 for Summer II). Fall Semester classes start September 5.
Students can earn an Associate degree in a number of disciplines by taking classes solely at the West Essex campus. These majors include Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, Criminal Justice, Education, Business Administration, Accounting and General Science.
Also, the West Essex campus offers an array of Uniform Construction Code courses.
