All existing computers in the College’s Learning Center have been upgraded with new All-in-One systems protected with Smart-Shield software. The Learning Center, at the Newark campus, contains 23 desktop computers.
“The upgrade is part of the College’s continuous effort to improve the delivery of student services,” said Dr. June Persaud, Associate Dean of Program Development & Learning Resources. She added the Learning Center is an instructional lab, not an open lab. The units will be utilized by students under the direct supervision of the Learning Associates for tutoring.
The College’s Information Technologies Department, under the leadership of Executive Dean/Chief Information Officer Mohamed Seddiki, completed the upgrades.
