Conversational French I is a five session class designed for those who want to communicate in French for everyday use. It will focus on teaching vocabulary, developing communication skills and learning aspects of the French culture. The class will meet Thursdays, starting March 1, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuition is $130.
Conversational Spanish II is a continuation of Conversational Spanish I, the class prerequisite. The five session course is designed for people who want to communicate in Spanish for everyday use and learn aspects of the Hispanic culture. The class will meet Saturdays, starting March 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Tuition is $130.
Managing Health Care Expenses in Retirement is a free workshop on March 20, from 6 to 7 p.m. The seminar will equip students with the information on how to manage health care in retirement and assessing the risk of a health care crisis requiring long-term care. It will also cover the basics of Medicare and private insurances.
Reiki – Alternative Healing Methods is a three session class that teaches this system of natural, hands-on healing. Reiki is a spiritual healing that originated in Japan. The class will meet Wednesdays, starting April 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuition is $78.
Using Your Talent to Make Extra Money is a one evening seminar that explores one’s talents in order to better utilize existing skills to become successful. The class will be held April 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuition is $39.
How to Become an Exceptional Presenter is a two session course that explores the importance of communicating effectively as well as expressing yourself with style and clarity in any situation. The class will meet April 17 and April 24, 6 to 8 p.m. both evenings. Tuition is $52.
