FALL OF 1982: ECC FORMS HONOR SOCIETY CHAPTER
A local chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society for junior and community colleges, has been formed at ECC. The purpose of the organization is to recognize outstanding academic achievement and encourage scholarship, leadership, and service among two-year college students. An orientation meeting of the ECC chapter was held on October 13 for prospective members to discuss upcoming induction into the honor society and plans to increase membership in the chapter. Student who seek membership must meet the following minimum criteria:
