How can I stay informed about any job vacancies that might become available?

To keep abreast of the job opportunities that might become available from time to time, just visit the Job Opportunities Bulletin posted on our website. It is our main vehicle for posting vacancies.

While you are not eligible for a Faculty position or an Adjunct Faculty assignment in the credit programs, you may be eligible for Adjunct Faculty and Temporary assignments with our non-credit programs in the Community and Continuing Education Division.

Do you have a need for adjunct faculty for the current or upcoming semester?

If you are interested in an Adjunct Faculty position for our credit programs and you possess a minimum of a Master’s degree, you are welcome to submit your resume and cover letter. We will transmit it to the appropriate department in your area of discipline for consideration.

How can I obtain further details about a posted job vacancy?

The Job Descriptions for posted vacancies are available for viewing in the Human Resources Department during normal hours of operation. Unfortunately, we do not provide copies of the Job Descriptions. In general, Job Descriptions are prepared for the regular employment category of positions with the exception of the Faculty positions.

Do I need to complete and submit an application?

You have the option to submit either a resume and cover letter or the Employment Application. If and when you are selected for a preliminary screening and/or interview, then at that time you will be required to complete the Employment Application.

Do I need to submit a separate resume and application for each position of interest?

If you are applying for more than one position, you will need to complete a separate Employment Application or provide a separate resume and cover letter for each position of interest.

How can I obtain a copy of the Employment Application?

You may obtain a copy of the Employment Application by clicking here or by picking it up directly from the Human Resources Department during normal hours of operation.

What method can I use to submit my application and/or resume and cover letter?

You may submit your resume and cover letter via facsimile (fax), electronic mail (e-mail), regular postal mail service, or you may hand-deliver it directly to the Human Resources Department during normal hours of operation. Unfortunately, we only accept the original completed Employment Application. We do not accept photocopies, fax or e-mail copies of the application.

What is the process once I apply for a position?

Upon receipt, the Human Resources Department will review each application and forward the applications satisfying the preliminary screening criteria to the designated Areas and/or Departments of the College. A letter acknowledging receipt of the applicant’s submission is then forwarded to the individual applicant within three (3) to four (4) weeks from the time of submission.

In addition to the preliminary screening, applicants applying for support staff positions will be required to undergo an assessment test. A letter is sent to the applicant via regular postal mail service informing the individual to contact the Human Resources Department to schedule an appointment for the assessment.
