Accommodation Policy

Essex County College is committed to the letter and spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA is a federal anti-discrimination statute that is designed to remove barriers which prevent qualified individuals with disabilities from enjoying the same employment opportunities that are available to persons without disabilities. ECC will make every reasonable effort to accommodate special needs. Requests for accommodation due to medical disability must be supported by medical certification and should be referred to the Human Resources Department.
