As a member of the Student Government Association I will work tirelessly to address any concerns from the student body of Essex County College. I will fight steadfastly for you to be empowered while improving the academics, technological devices, and enhancing the quality of life for students at Essex County College. Voting for me is just half of the challenge to getting results, on the other hand I need you to be proactive by participating in your concerns that you bring to my attention. I will be as transparent as possible and the only way to keep me accountable is by engaging yourself in the procedure to achieve goals for the collective body of students at Essex County College. Elect me as Senator of the Student Government Association and I won't sleep until we get justice and equality for all students at Essex County College. Thank you in advance for your vote! Peace!

Terrell PaigeTerrell Paige
Hello ECC, My name is Terrell Paige and I am running for Student Government President for the 2012-2013 school years. When I am voted in as president, there are a few things that I'd like to get done. I'd like to advocate with students by gathering students together to fight for important issues by focusing the power that we have as paying students together for common causes. In addition, I'd like to improve student services particularly the current food system and its lack of payment options, and the inefficient system currently in place online for various web services, which frequently seems to be indisposed. I'd also like to collaborate with student governments at nearby universities to address problems that affect all students in NJ not just ECC, Such as rising tuition and book costs. By voting for me you would be voting for someone who is willing to fight with students day in and day out to address many problems that have previously went unchanged.

Victoria PollaroVictoria Pollaro
I am Victoria Pollaro, a Biology/Pre-Med major, aiming to become a doctor. Attending Essex County College was the best decision I have ever made in life. I have grown and thrived socially, emotionally, and intellectually here. I have given back to my community by participating in several community service activities, taking care of the elderly, and taking care of special needs children. In the future I hope to operate a health clinic in an inner city so I can offer quality medical care to individuals without health insurance.
