TUITION AND FEES
Two-week sessions: $350 per session
Three-week sessions: $500 per session
Family discount: Register two or more children (siblings) from a single family save 10% on tuition only for the second child and any additional siblings.
Participants are required to bring basic supplies: a notebook, pens, pencils, crayons, etc. In addition, there is a $15 fee per student/per session to offset costs of materials provided for instruction.
One t-shirt is included with the paid tuition. Extra t-shirts may be purchased for $10 each. T-shirts must be worn on Field Trips and Picture day (will be announced in advanced).
July 8, 15, 22, 29 and August 5 & 12
Fridays from 8:30am – 4pm our participants will board an air-conditioned bus, chaperoned by their teachers and staff. Authorization forms will be provided in-person.
DROP-OFF & PICK-UP
Students must be dropped off during breakfast time in the Cafeteria on the 2nd floor. Students must be picked up during dismissal time from their classroom, unless they are enrolled in Aftercare. Classroom locations will be provided. If your child needs to be picked up early, you must contact/stop by the office.
During summer months, Essex County College is closed on Fridays, therefore, a $10 late fee will be charged if your child is not picked up by 4pm for Field Trips.
Names and phone numbers of authorized individuals for pick-up must be provided. These persons must also show ID upon arrival. A form will be provided in-person.
Aftercare is available Monday through Thursday for an additional $25 per week. Aftercare is NOT available on Fridays. Aftercare request can be submitted in-person at the time of registration or one week prior to the week that is needed.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided Monday through Thursday. A daily menu will be supplied during the parent meeting. Children should bring their own meals if they will not be eating what is on the menu. Those with food allergies should bring substitue meals when needed and this information should be noted on the Health History/Medical Form. Meals are NOT provided on Fridays; all participants should bring their own lunch for field trips.
HEALTH HISTORY/ MEDICAL RELEASE
This form must be completed at time of registration; listing all allergies, signed by parent or legal guardian and returned with a CURRENT copy of the child’s immunization record from their Physician. NOTE: Parent/guardian must administer medical injections or allergy kits to their children. Participants with inhalers, must be able to administer the dosage to his/herself, it must be labeled with their name and kept with the participant during program hours.
Upon registration, this form will be given and it should be reviewed by the parent with each participant. This is an agreement between the participant, parent and Summer Youth Program which states appropriate/acceptable behavior to be followed. All participants and parents must read, sign and return the student conduct form prior to start of their program.
