What is Summer Program for Kids?

Essex County College’s Summer Program for Kids offers your child an enriching alternative to the traditional summer camp. Participants are offered a variety of courses with which they can create their own unique summer educational experience. Participants choose four courses from the array of course offerings. Each course meets 1 1/2 hours a day for five weeks. (Monday through Thursday). On Fridays, educational and recreational field trips will be given to such places as museums, science fairs and amusement parks. .

Who is eligible?

All youngsters who will be between the ages of 10-15 years of age by the first day of the program are eligible for the Summer Program for Kids. There are discounts available if you have more than one child that falls within that age range.

Camp Structure

Camp starts July 7th and ends August 8th, 2014

Morning care and After Care

Morning Care for students is from 8:00am to 9:00am. After care is from 5:00pm – 6:00pm. Morning care and after care is included in the tuition.

Meals

All Summer Program for Kids participants may bring their own breakfast and lunch! Please note that there is limited refrigerator space for participant’s use. Breakfast and lunch can be purchased from campus cafeteria
