The Intramural and Recreational Sports Program encourages an active, healthy lifestyle and enhances the sense of community at ECC by providing students, faculty, staff, and alumni the opportunity to participate in team and individual sport competitions, and special events. Hundreds of participants maintain their fitness, make friends, and combat stress while enjoying the friendly sports contests involving team or individual sports.

The Program’s team sports include flag football, basketball, volleyball, bowling, soccer.

Chess, table tennis, Three point shooting, Slam Dunk, and bowling are offered as individual sports.

Special events include competitions in Stair Master, stationary bikes, bench press, pull-ups, Walk/Jog/Run, Squat competition. Winners receive trophies, medals and/or t-shirts.
