Register Today for Remote Instruction Summer Classes

You can register now at essex.edu/registration for Essex County College’s (ECC) Summer I & II 2020 terms. Summer I remote instruction classes start May 26.

The College is providing all Summer 2020 classes remotely.

ECC President, Dr. Anthony E. Munroe, said, “Summer is a great time to take your higher education to the next level. At Essex County College, we provide the same high quality, affordable education year-round.”

The College has the lowest cost in Essex County for higher education.

Sanjay Ramdath, Executive Director of Enrollment Services, said that Summer classes allow students to earn three to six credits per term, leading to earning their Associate degree in less time.

“Our full array of student services, such as advisement and tutoring, continues in the Summer months,” said Dr. Keith Kirkland, Dean of Student Affairs. “This Summer, these services are provided remotely.”

Current ECC student and Social Sciences major Diaine Watson said, “Summer classes allow me to earn credits toward my degree in a fairly short time. Since the classes are compressed, the instruction moves fast with a lot of information. But it’s definitely worth it.”

Diaine speaks from experience, having started her Essex County College career last Summer. She also is quick to tell her friends the advantages of taking even just one class each Summer term, which leads toward degree completion much faster.

ECC also provides a wide array of Workforce Development training programs designed for those who want to either enter or return to the workforce as quickly as possible.

Essex County College is fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The College offers over 50 Associate degrees and more than two dozen Academic Certificates in a wide range of disciplines. Essex graduates transfer with full junior status to many New Jersey colleges and universities, as well as schools from around the country.
