Virtual Open House for Supply Chain Management

Learn about career opportunities and how you can position yourself in the rapidly growing Supply Chain Management field during a Virtual Open House Thursday, April 8 at Essex County College. The informational session will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., with virtual check-in from 4:30 to 5 p.m.

Participants will learn about the Supply Chain Management Associate degree program, offered through the College’s Division of Business.  Information on Essex County College’s admissions process, financial aid and academic support will also be available during the session. 

Faculty, Admissions staff, industry experts and personnel from the College’s Financial Aid Office will answer questions and provide information on the application timeline for the upcoming academic year.

Supply Chain Management is an accelerating field, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is just one example of the kind of programs we offer to prepare our students to meet the demands of a constantly evolving economy and world,” said ECC’s Interim President Dr. Augustine Boakye. 

“Supply Chain Management builds job ready skills for graduates in a variety of career paths including business, manufacturing, logistics and management. In today’s robust global competitive environment and drive toward sustainability, supply chain graduates are increasingly in high demand to innovatively manage existing and future complex supply chains,” said Professor and Program Coordinator Pavi Jalloh.

The A.S. Supply Chain Management program was introduced at Essex County College in January, 2017, championed by then Division of Business Chair Dr. Boakye. The College was the first two-year institution in New Jersey to offer the degree program.
