Effective July 1, 2017 Essex County College retroactively increased the in-county tuition rate by $7.00 per credit hour and the out of county tuition rate by $14.00 per credit hour beginning with the Fall 2017 semester. Please visit the myECC portal to determine the amount of your Fall 2017 semester bill and to ensure that the minimum payment required has been submitted.
Students should also consider other expenses (meals, books, transportation, etc.), which will vary widely from student to student. Book charges for some full-time students may be as high as $150.00 per class per semester. A student whose funds are limited must plan carefully for a workable budget.
