Admission

All cash payments, financial aid awards, agency/employer vouchers, and tuition waivers must be submitted by the payment due date.  Payments can be made through the Tuition Payment Portal at: https://myportal.essex.edu

Students who decide not to attend must officially drop courses online within the published refund period (found in the ‘Tuition Refund Policy’ Tab) or they will be held responsible for full payment of the adjusted tuition bill.

The college reserves the right to drop registrations without the minimum payment required.

Academic Year 23/24:

Summer II 2023 (Two Payment Plan):

  • Register March 9 – June 20, payment is due by June 20, 2023
  • Register after June 20,  payment is due within 24 hours of registration.
  • Second payment is due August 1, 2023

 Fall I 2023 & Weekend College (Three Payment Plan):

  • Register through August 16, payment is due by August 16, 2023
  • Register after August 16, payment is due within 24 hours of registration.
  • Second payment is due October 3, 2023
  • Third payment is due November 1, 2023

Fall FOCUS Extension 2023 (Two Payment Plan):

  • Register through August 16, payment is due by August 16, 2023
  • Register after August 16, payment is due within 24 hours of registration.
  • Second payment is due November 1, 2023

Fall II 2023 (Two Payment Plan):

  • Payment is due within 24 hours of registration.
  • Second payment is due November 1, 2023

 Winter Intersession 2023

  • Register for only Winter Intersession Nov. 13 – December 15 – full payment is due by December 15, 2023
  • Register for only Winter Intersession after December 15, payment is due at time of registration
  • Register for Winter Intersession and Spring I classes and combine both terms in the Spring I 2024 payment plan.

Spring I 2024 & FOCUS/Ironbound Semesters (Three Payment Plan):

  • Register November 13 – December 15, payment is due by December 15, 2023
  • Register December 15 – January 2, payment is due by January 3, 2024
  • Register after January 2, payment is due within 24 hours of registration
  • Second payment is due February 6, 2024
  • Third payment is due March 6, 2024

Spring II 2024– Second Session (Two Payment Plan):

  • Payment is due within 24 hours of registration
  • Second payment is due March 6, 2024

Summer I 2024 (Two Payment Plan):

  • Register March 11 – April 30, payment is due by April 30, 2024
  • Register after April 30,  payment is due within 24 hours of registration
  • Second payment is due June 5, 2024

ACADEMIC YEAR 24/25:

  • Register March 11 – June 25, payment is due by June 25, 2024
