The Computer Science & Robotics club is open to all students who simply have a passion for computer science and/or robotics. Many of its members are computer science majors but the club is open to all, and is focused on inspiring interest in technology. CSAR provides networking opportunities, workshops and tech lectures from special guests within the industry.

Whether it’s a catapult or a cement canoe, the Engineering Concentration Society is always creating something exciting! The Future Teachers Club provides all students interested in a teaching career with additional support and resources that can have a positive impact in their professional and academic lives. Phi Theta Kappa (PTK)

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for two-year colleges whose membership consists of excellent, high-achieving students. The organization recognizes and rewards members for their academic achievement and excellence, and assists them in their academic endeavors. To be eligible for membership in Phi Theta Kappa, a student must have accumulated a minimum of 12 college-level credit hours, and have a grade point average equivalent to not less than a 3.60.

Christian Fellowship Club

The purpose of ‘Christian Fellowship’ is to establish and advance witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Lord. The nature of the club is to bring students to an understanding of Christ and instill love for Essex students, faculty, and administration. One of the broad educational goals that IVCF promotes is preparing mature students who would transform the world of work and knowledge outside of the college.

Whether you are a nerd for tabletop gaming, console gaming, card playing or Japanese animation, The Gaming & Anime Club meets twice a week to dedicate equal time for playing games as well as watching and discussing anime. The club hosts multiple E-Sports tournaments each semester and streams all the action to Twitch.
