The Office of Institutional Research conducted an alumni survey in May of 2019. The 1283 students who graduated between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018 are invited. 239 students (19%) responded to the survey. Of the 239 respondents, 167 graduates (70%) are employed and 72 graduates (30%) are not employed or did not provide an employment information. Among the employed, 37% of them are employed before entering Essex, and 47% while attending at Essex. Of the 167 employed, 89 (53%) are full-time, 65 (39%) part-time, and 10 (6%) per diem. And 51% of them indicated that their job is directly or somewhat related to their program of study.
