Essex County College has a separate contract for each of the following bargaining units which contain the terms and conditions of employment for the designated employee classifications. The New Jersey Employer-Employee Relations Act, N.J.S.A. 34:13A-5.4 (a) (5), sets the scope of contract negotiations between the college and the bargaining units. The Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC) administers the New Jersey Employer-Employee Relations Act and oversees the collective bargaining units.
